    Hi folks,
I have raspberries growing at the bottom of my new garden, they taste lovely :wub2:
My question is.......How long do they keep producing for and what do I do to the canes when they have finished growing to ensure success again next year?

    Thank you,
    Steve

Normal ones will produce for another few weeks, depending on how many unripe berries there are. Then you remove to ground level all the canes which have produced this year. Easy to tell which, they have brown stems whereas the new canes will be green or very light brown. Next years fruit is produced on the new canes. Feed in Spring with something like Rose fertiliser. We mulch ours with garden compost after cutting out the old canes.
