Real-time rain information

There's a new free website showing real time rainfall across the UK. You can search by postcode or location, and zoom in to street level.

Just had a look and thought-magnificent site, then it didn`t get past the current time-is that a glitch?

 

Call me a sceptic but anyone who registers and their first post is a link to another site smells like Spam to me. Particularly as Google has, as yet, only spidered one page on your site ... smells of a brand new site. And you have disabled receipt of EMail on this site.

I expect putting the text of your post into Google in a day or two will reveal all the other sites you've spam'd

 

The BBC website gives weather radar ( google 'weather radar') which forecasts up to 48hrs accurately (especially useful for density of rainfall) and then a general outlook. I've found this vey useful - we live in an area prone to flooded roads - helpful to know what's coming.
