Hi for those reading this i really need your help, im not really into gardening but my garden has wild grass and it just grows like wild fire, what would be the best way too kill it? As im thinking off getting artificial grass but need to get rid off the wild stuff first.

    Any advice is appreciated

    Matt.

Presume you mean couch grass, or twitch as it's known in these parts. Round Up or a similar glyphosate weedkiller will kill it, but if you border on to fields or anywhere else where it grows you'll have to watch for it creeping back in. It's soul-destroying stuff when it gets a hold - I even had some apparently thriving a foot underwater in a pond! But even so - artificial grass?!!!!! Can you hear the mass sharp intake of breath from your fellow gardeners here!!!!! :heehee:

Best of luck with the twitch, anyway - nobody wants that in their garden whatever they want to replace it with!
