Hi all, I'm in need of a show stopping mid border something or other! I have been out rearranging and planting me bulbs but have a huge gap in the middle of my rather large and main border! I have planted out some alliums coneflowers and mixed bulbs (from a pack in homebase) in pinks and purples but have this gap? The bed gets hot sun all day all summer, it's clay but very stony and nothing with fantastically deep roots as it is close to a septic tank... Any ideas??

Traditional thought would be a clematis or three to really cover it. Make sure they're of different types for yeat round interest.

    Or runner beans lol
