    I will retire in August and want to get back into gardening, mainly for vegetables but some hanging baskets as well. I am amazed at the breadth of help on here and hope to get tips and inspiration over time. I have a new all singing, all dancing greenhouse so I hope that I can make it pay.

              Hi Taurus, I have been retired just over a year now and have never been so busy. The garden supplies lots of things to do. I have a 8 by 6 ft greenhouse and it is invaluable. You will be just in time to sow winter salads and I also found that watercress grew well in the greenhouse last winter.
