    Hello all

The Soil Levels in my Garden seem to have gone down over the Winter

Can anyone recommend a Good Topsoil that is relatively Weed Free that is available in 25Kg Bags and can be Delivered?

    Thanks in advance

    Kevin

    Hi,

Yes the levels do drop over winter, but will partly rise up once you give them a bit of light cultivation / planting.

All the usual places sell and deliver bags of top soil, but you need to find out what they actaully contain as well as soil, sand is commonly used to bulk it out, others may have composted green waste.

Also the price / volume of top soil seems to be at least as expensive as typical compost, so you might be better adding them or things like bagged manure to both bulk up and improve your soil.

Worth searching on 'Top Soil Doncaster' to find places that do deliver bagged soil, but do check the minimum order value and delivery charges, they can be high !
