    After cutting the stems off I leave the heads out for nest material...There is a nest box about 6 feet away and the Blue tits love the stuff.

    That's a brilliant idea, Pal! ;) I don't have any pampas grass, but customers do.... [​IMG] [​IMG] [​IMG]

    Is that more securely wedged in the tree than it looks? I'm sure it is,!

    BTW - how's the little amelanchier settling in? Any signs of buds developing? I don't think they'd got very big when I sent it.

    Dendy...it's 3ft tall and I've pruned it to a single stem.
