We recently renewed our guttering and it seemed a shame to waste some of the old. An end cap on each end, then suspended from two basket brackets. It makes a wonderful strawberry planter ...

Using a couple of left over pieces of downpipe, we just filled them with compost and planted strawberries in them too ...

What recycling ideas have you had that may be of help to others?

IckleWeed what a wonderful idea ....I'm forever recycling stuff to use in my garden when normally in the past I would have shamefully throw away.

    That's a great idea!

I'm hoping to recycle a lot of the concrete sleepers and stones once I get round (and unbroken) to getting things on the move out there [IMG]
