You are looking at growing next season for Red Cabbage. Sow in April time, transplant the seedlings in June - should be ready late September. If you don't fancy growing from seed, you'll find small plants in garden centres next year in June time. They like well a prepared sunny position, lots of manure and water - protect from butterflies with netting. Plant them about 1 foot apart. :thumb:

I put some plants in last week from the nursery, like John says a foot apart roughly in my case as i've planted them in the existing corgette bed. So when the corgettes finish they'll already be established.

Hopefully they'll heart up before the butterflys come back, if not then I'll net.
