    Saw the first of our Red Campion (Silene dioica) on chilly but pleasant walk down on the Fife Coastal Path on Saturday

    Lovely picture - I made the mistake many years ago of growing red campion in my wild flower garden - it is a prolific self seeder. I'm still removing them from places I don't want them :(

    I got some lovely clumps of it in my woodland garden. It can only seed where there is bare earth and there is none - wall to wall ground cover is the answer

    You might be interested to know this morning while mosying around B/Q they were asking �£4.99.
    for the Rose Campion makes you feel good to know you have lots in your garden...Don't it?

    I've still got some in flower - so could prolly send your a root, or when it sets seed some seed if you like.
