Ihave a well established standard bush/tree which I am told is called red robin. Can anyone please tell me why the leaves curl up and die as soon as they turn red. Thanks.

Hi leahbe. The plant you have is something call Photinia with the variety being Red Robin. Is the plant in a windy or cold or hot and sunny spot? Does it have any aphids on it? What is the soil like? what is it fed with? Any of these things could be the cause of the problem. Please let me know. David.
