I will try to down load pictures of my gardens as I can. This one is my hardy begonias. :)

And this is the heath and heather slop before the heath and heather was planted.

Ok, now the heath and heather slop today. They are about 3 years old.

Oh, yeah, all that stuff behind the slope is another big garden, and there is one next to it, a little smaller, and one up by the house/
But the down loading of pictures is got to be easier. Enjoy any way, I will keep adding now and again. Just a reminder, I have 2 1/2 acres. Its a continual something everyday.

Plenty of room there Red, definitely want more pictures of it. Takes a while to weed it I would assume, but worth the effort just to get some peace and beauty.

I think we are all very envious of your space Redstar. I would love to see more pictures of how it all turns out.

Thanks folks. I am going to see if I can get a good shot of both gardens from the deck of my house. This is the area up the slop on the left of the top pictures.
In the pictures above, way to the right off camera is the gazebo, we have huge rocks/bolders flanking the path to the gazebo. These were unearthed as we developed --what I call the valley area. We rented a back hoe to do these jobs and position them. Then we brought in truck loads of top soil for this area before we started planting. We do have several groupings of shrubs and plants started here.
There is also swing trellis over on the side, I just ordered the 6 ft bench seat for it, and have to get some climbing roses for it planted by fall. I'll try to find before and after pictures of this area. But this area is still a work in progress, its our last. The other gardens above, by the house, in front of the house, sides and the other two in the front yard are now just to maintain. Oh, yes, weeding is interesting. If I weed a garden really good and pack in the mulch, I can usually leave it alone for a year, with only a little weeding and tending. Some of my gardens have re-seeders which I have to respect, there you can't heavy mulch, cause I want those babies. Now that it is September, we have to look forward to the leaves falling. We have a wooded, shady property, the front yard alone has 22, 180 foot tall trees, and the back also many trees, so then the raking begins. We have raked into January sometimes. I try to hire some young boy during this period to assist with the raking, it helps when I find someone. Well thats all for now.

You folks, so sweet. I have taken some more pics this afternoon, will have to down load and move over---soon. I also have some spring shots on this lab top to find and place here.
This is further view of the valley---still work in progress.

View from the Gazebo up to the house----area work in progress.

Below two pictures of the shade garden closest to the house. It was my first one.

Ok, these are just some other things. Will get more, later.
Below is a cluster of potted plants on the deck, they go inside in the winter.

Just the side of the house. Still need to mulch it for this year. You can see at the back left corner the beginning of the Rhodo garden.

And the only one of a kind----a Stump Tomato Plant.

Thats all for tonight, hope you enjoy them.
