We have loads of them in the holly tree next door.
They are lovely but very timid and I can't get a photo.:dh:

Although I don't see many down here I have found it difficult in the past to get close enough for a decent pic. Keep trying Lyn.:)

There must be 20 or 30 of them in the Holly tree eating the berries and this is the best photo I can get.:dh:
You only have to move near the window and they are off.
It's taken through the kitchen window so not very good.

It`s good enough-and as you say, as good as it will ever be. It must be lovely for you to see them enjoying themselves.

Redwing's are great, but they'll have all your berries in no time!, the best way of telling them from thrushes is the stripe through the eye, you often don't see the red underwing.

Bob, Yep They are Long tailed tits.. Aren't they cu'ute! there's a lot around this year, they seem to be thriving!

Lyn, you could try putting out some cut pieces of apple to encourage them into the garden as they are rather partial to them.:)
Longtailed tits and Coal tits have been more frequent visitors to the garden this year, they are difficult to get a goood pic as they don't stay still!!

We have identified redwings for the very first time this year in our garden :) and during that very cold spell we kept the water bath defrosted and had waxwings coming to drink:yho: - we've definitely NEVER seen them here before.
