Remember that hemp nettle???

    I posted a while ago asking for an ID on a plant-Woo id-ed it as hemp nettle, which I agreed with.


    I can't find my post now.................I have looked I promised went as far back as April!!


    This blew me away today-what a nettle!!!! I didn't enhance the pic or anyting ( just one of those fluke pics). Is it a hemp nettle-it has dead nettle shaped flowers but I haven't ever seen those colours on one myself.


    It is a perfect purple and yellow flower,

    Nope not a Hemp nettle. That looks like a Wild Pansy to me.. Viola tricolor.. Beautiful little things..:)

    It is about 4ft tall MF-I am trying to get a good pic now but it has the sun on it so my skills are failing me.


    It also has a very light lemon sherbet scent.


    I nearly fell over-I have hundreds of them!!!

    A shame about the why I am a gardener comp-because this is why I LOVE ADORE WORSHIP gardening!!
