Removing Phone lines etc from Photos

    Telephone lines can be a pain as they can get in the way of a great photo, I've just found this Photoshop plugin for removing them from Photos...without having to use Photoshops sometimes tricky to use clone brush. It probably has some limitations but I've just used it on the following photo as an example.

    The plugin is free and worth trying out IMO and available here http://www.vicanek.de/plugins/wireworm.htm along with other examples of its use and a tutorial on how to use it. There are also other free plugins I have not tried that may be worth a look too.

    wow thats great didnt know you could do that, do you have to buy the software, wouldnt mind that for future im a bit like dee dont know iff i could master it either

    ive been using photoshop software for years and have still not really mastered it.
    Every time I use it it an adventure into the unknown.

    Hi cap I,m just the same, The problem Is that I very rarely use the Clone Tool or the Object remover In Paint shop Pro,Maybe I should use It more just to keep my hand In:)

    You don't have to buy the software, the same things can be done with The Gimp, which is free.

    I removed a street lamp from a picture of Queens College, Cambridge taken from Silver Street. I even got the bonding correct in the brickwork. Takes some doing but it can be done.
