I have been renovating an old clothes mangle. The rollers were infested with woodworm and rotted. I paid £100 for two new ones turned in Iroko ... well worth the money. Only problem is that I have a second one that needs the same treatment :) IMG_1641.jpg IMG_1636.jpg IMG_1650.jpg

You've made a lovely job of that renovation Sam. I remember my grandma's and helping her to put heavy towels through it before going up on the line. Does yours still do the job?

Well they still go round if that's what you mean. I am not going to try a bed sheet through it though LOL

Ooh lovely. I remember my grandma's, she swore by it, but hopefully not at it. Her's had rubber-coated rollers, got a double sheet almost dry in a few squeezes.
