replacement solar pump

    my water fountain pump has packed in.
    does anyone know where i coul get a replacement.
    ive tried for hours on the net with no joy.
    solar pump-jwp-100.
    dc 3v-o-9w-320 l/h.

    Pumps pick up small bits of "stuff" and it causes problems. Try taking the pump out and running water through it backwards. You don't want a lot of pressure, just hold it under the kitchen tap and run water into the outlet of the pump. Some of the small pumps have a foam filter on the inlet. You can also check to see if this is clogged.

    Just a thought.

    Regarding the make, I think its Chinese if that's any use??

    only other thing on it is a sort of CE logo its made in china patent no.zl 2004200876563.
    ive been on other forums with guys looking for them.
    even seen a request on e bay.

    I have had a search for this pump, looks like others in the UK and USA are having problems tracing spare pumps. The company link below may help they specialise in pump spares and replacements - don't know if they do solar pumps though.

    Vik, if it has the CE logo, that means it is supposed to be manufactured by a Country in Europe. If I were you, I would give up trying to get a replacement of that make. And go for a reliable manufacturer such as Blagdon or Lotus. :)

    yes i think your right david.
    problem is it would need to be same size as space is limited.
    also does it need to be same voltage etc for solar panel?
