I've just been out and had a bit of a tidy up. I was going to get rid of my summer bedding stuff in containers as they look past their best. Having a look though, I noticed only some of the plants were scruffy looking so I decided to pull them apart and just get rid of the ugly ones. I made up 5 pots of stuff from what was left. Has anyone else ever tried this and was it successful?? If it works it will save me money buying new plants that will only last a few weeks anyway. Scrungee will be proud of me too!! :heehee:

They do look better now and, fingers crossed, seem ok so far. The only plant that doesn't look very happy is a black petunia.

I mix and match dieing containers like that. Bin the ones that are past their best and move the perky ones to other containers. It should get me through to early October :blue thumb:

Cheers you guys! I don't know why doing that didn't cross my mind earlier. It's save loads of money by not buying new stuff and they still look nice.
