This picture I think captures a lovely event this morning. Summoned to the kitchen I found our friendly local Robin had (probably in preperation of a cold winter) decided to enter the kitchen and check out some potential new digs. He entered through the patio window, which we leave slightly ajar for the cat. Lucy, the cat, couldn't quite get her head around the reversal of fortunes that she was kept out in the cold while the Robin was inside.

Robin safely released by opening the window a couple of minutes later.

The picture is open to so many comments on what the cat is thinking :lollol:

    Great picture, Martin.

Your cat is probably thinking along the lines of: 'I had him cornered and you let him go?' My cat has similar views about humane mousetraps. That and the fact that they are a terrible waste of good tuna - the only bait which seems to work.

"hmmmm... a degree in chemical engineering, tick. A nice house with garden, tick. Take over an unacquainted nation.... "

If it hadn't been for the brave and observant Ms Lucy Martin, "Racy Robin" might just have been able to succeed with his plans to dominate the world.
