Hi all,has anyone heard of a rhododendron that will grow in soil that's not acid.
My son-in-law said he saw it on tv but can't remember where it came from. [IMG]

Hilarious link Liz. No idea about the plant, pretty much like Millais it would appear, but am not completely surprised to discover that plants at no price are currently unavailable.

Lime tolerant rhodys, hmm ask the forestry commision, they might know more than some others. Haven't we been trying to eradicate R. ponticum for 60 years?

More seriously, I have no idea but personally can't see the point.

    Jazid :D :D :D
I used to be in Cambs with chalky soil. I always wanted Rhododendrons, azaleas etc.
I know we are supposed to try to grow plants that suit the soil we have, but this 'inkarho' is said to be naturally occurring, so who are we to argue with it?
