    very overgrown Rhodie how do you attack it,friend really needs help she dosent want to lose it,but its quite messy

    You need to takle this over two seasons otherwise yoll have no flowers next year.

    thin out around 1/3 of the offending branches or reduce them ( after its finished flowering) same next season.

    Dont be tempted to use a hedge trimmer, its a secauter or pruning saw job.
