Hi Bob. We were there ourselves not so long back, maybe 4 weeks ? It rained ALL day ! We still managed to get round though, using a couple of their brollies :thumb: A pity, we were there maybe 2 or 3 weeks too early, loads of buds on the roses but not as prolific as those shown in your pics. A fantastic place to visit with many aspects/styles of gardening to look at and admire. Mind you, my cabbages are much better than theirs ! :D Thanks for sharing the pics Bob :thumb: BTW, there's a few pics in the Roses forum I posted.
    Cheers...freddy.

    Hi Bob :)

Wow, what a beautiful place to visit. I really enjoyed looking at those. I know what you mean about the heady perfume. We went to a fantastic garden today [I put some pics in Mannington Garden thread] and put that the perfume from the roses was wonderful!

One of my fave past times I reckon :)

Hi Bob, lovely! Easier to get more of the "feel" of the place with a video but nothing beats actually being there smelling the perfume.
I have another half like yours :hehe:
Hence most pics of him are distance shots when he doesn't realise I am taking them!

Lovely photos Bob.My sister and BiL live near Rosemoor and often go round the gardens. We got as far as the Nursery the other year when we visited them at Easter time but spent so long buying plants that we never had time to look round the gardens and my sister reckoned there wasn't much to see at that time of the year.

Thanks for sharing them with us:gnthb:

    Now that is something.
Never fails to amaze me the variety of gardens we have in this country and that has to be one of the best.
Thanks bob for sharing your day

Superb gardens! Thanks for sharing the great photographs with us. Wonderful use of Alchemilla to soften the edges of one of the pathways, now, if only I can do the same with mineâ?¦ perhaps a little coaxing will control it and make it go where I want it to.:hehe:
