The University of Sheffield is asking UK gardeners about changes in their garden possibly linked to climate change.

And on the topic of climate change, here’s a clever couple who drove from UK to Switzerland in a campervan, burning fossil fuels as they went, to be surprised and shocked and “in tears” about how a glacier they saw in 2009 has shrunk. Whooodabelievedit?

 

When I walked around Mont Blanc in around 2008, with a group, it was perfectly easy to see how much the glaciers had retreated over the years. No need to revisit 15 years later.
