              I absolutely adored her and all her work. Nobody will match up to her....a true legend. I have a lot of her albums.

                When a legend of the quality of Tina Turner passes, it always make me feel like I'm getting old. Every time there's news of the death of someone that was really influential in my youth, who was always just there, it's a reminder that time is ticking. It's not even as though there's a new batch waiting in the wings to step up to the plate. Sure there are some decent young performers, but maybe I'm being harsh when I say that none of them are in the same league as some of the old timers.
