river eden walk

    heres some pics from a walk i did at the weekend along the river eden in carlisle
    the white line just aboce the river was a swan flying upstream

    Hi cumberland. I'm liking the look of this, looks like a great place to fish. I'd love to sit on the bank (with my beer and sandwiches :)) and waste some time there :thumb:

    yes the river has got salmon and trout in it

    this is a view from the northbank of the eden and i live just below the cone shaped hill to the left of the mast in the distance

    Hang on a mo !! Do my eyes deceive me ? Is that...a GOLF course over there ?!! Flippin' eck, more like paradise, methinks :)

    yes freddy there are 2 golf courses one runs beside the river eden (this one) and another runs a long the river petterill
