River Parrett Today

    There was a Kingfisher by the Pumping Station but my camera wouldn't pick it out.

    The River is tidal here, the Romans knew this & built a bridge from the hill to get to the river.

            Sometimes it looks like it's flowing backwards? I think it's one of the slowest rivers in the country.
