Looks good this year, lots of healthy weed, clean sandy bottom and little fish.

Don't I wish! No, it's 5minutes walk from where I live, tributary of the Wye.

This is my river - not always a good thing to have in your garden, I have to have a new bridge at £3,000!!!

You can just about see Edward in the middle of the picture - another problem, and you have to plant stuff to stop the river washing all your garden away.

No I am not really grumbling - I love it.

That's lovely! Have Edwards' ducklings survived?

Sadly Edwards babies seem to have gone the way of all things, either the fox, crows or drakes and poor old Edward is back at the gate doing green poos and wondering what has happened to him - poor boy.

I am doing battle with Indian Balsam, scared stiff it will take over the whole village, it even grows in my compost heap.
