I have been trying to grow rockett and mixed herb salad leaves, in a sunny spot. I am finding they are bolting to seed before the leaves are even large enough to pick. What am i doing wrong?

It's probably the hot weather that's causing them to bolt. Try plenty of water and some shade?

I'm with Hornbeam here - plenty of water are (touchwood) keeping mine going ok. They are quite bitter/peppery though, which I understand is from the hot weather.

Try growing sunflowers in front of them for some shade?
