    Tried to run this one a few years back but for some reason I don't remember it go de-railed from the start :th scifD36:

    A planter Roman Stylee

    Roman Sweet Peas, so they did grow plants for decoration as well as food :)

        Probably more for scent than decoration Zigs, I wonder if they grew them cordon or not..:yahoo:

        Quite possibly for food. I grow Lathyrus sativus azureus the seed of which are still sold as food in some parts of Italy.................
