The other day I had to do an emergency repair to my gutter. While I was there I decided to clean out all the debris. Most of it got washed away. The rest ended up on the floor and got swept aside. For future reference, could I put this waste in the composter?

I would put it in the composting mix, although it might need rehydrating first, depending on the conditions when you remove it!!

Well it's according to how your garden is designed and where it's going :snorky:

My garden isn't designed, it is natural, it has evolved.
And a small amount of moss collected from gutters and roofs is not going to make an impact, it just mixes in with the soil.
In a week or so it has disappeared, the worms and insects move it around, if I don't do it first.

Right i'm with you more mate concerning soil and it being moss besides a fungus which can get out of control...that was my main concern.

My hubby as just filled a bin full off our roof a week ago :)
