Root trainers

    Hi All

    Bought a load of root trainers last week, Has anyone used these before, Can you start almost any plant in them? Would like to hear your views on this type of system.

    You can start pretty much anything, Mark, but they're particularly useful for things you don't want to disturb the roots on, like sweet peas.

    I usually put a few small pebbles at the botttom to stop the compost falling through....

    I was wondering about pluging the opening at the bottom, Thanks for the tip.
