New to the forum. Hope someone can help.

I have used Rosa Rugosa Scabrosa before and it is exactly what I require for a couple of places in my small garden.

The fact that it doesn't require dead heading, flowers continuously, has beautiful foliage and ends up like a Christmas tree festooned with large hips means it is exactly what I want.

However having burned off a few gallons of petrol searching for it, (and as usual buying plants I never intended to purchase in the process), I thought I should get a little more scientific.

As you will see from my profile I live in the North East and if anyone can point me towards a supplier I would be most grateful.

    Thanks for quick reply.
Gave up on ‘Scabrosa’ when I found a source on the Net at £42 for two.
Braithwaites of Leeming had a couple of ‘Rosa Roseraie de la Hay’ which look as though they will do the same job as ‘Scabrosa’. Scented with armour plated foliage, just what I need.
As a matter of interest, how does one access a PM.

    Thanks again.

    Thanks Wiseoldowl.
In broggeling about to find the How To section I stumbled on the PM section.
Found your list of suppliers but no surprise the nearest supplier to the blighted north east is in Leicester, a three hour drive away!
Sorry not to comment on the How To Forum but I couln't find that either.

    Cheers
