thanks wildflower & gogs, going to do another one of the cottage but another angle, they are for my friend who has that cottage in france so she is going to get old frames for them to put up in the cottage.
my biggest challenge will be doing the tyne bridge for the same friend, her o/h has always wanted a painting of the tyne bridge, and she wants it done from the 1930s so its finding a picture its proving difficult.

PS If you google Tyne Bridge 1930 a few images come up

I do like the cottage, Rosa. You have kept it fresh and clean. So easy to overdo watercolours and finish up with a muddy mess. Well done [IMG]

I really like those colours, rosa. What room does it suit in her home?

It's my sort of thing and would go with my oriential guest bedroom theme. Ours is Egyptian.

she wants it for her lounge, she has a red settee with red and gold cushions, red curtains and a plain light mustard carpet, with pine furniture.I wouldnt personally have it in my room but she has different taste to me, do hope she likes it as she likes modern things.

That is really striking! Excellent colours and the lines of the grass stems are just perfect.
