Hi i planted 35 bare root roses in my garden in early spring. Some got going quickly, others have really only started to get going in last couple of months (leaves, new growth etc). Peace and iceberg mainly, some city of leeds, little buckaroo and iceberg climbers. Should i prune in first year?. I'm less worried about the ones that are waist high and were growing from the off more the ones that have taken a while to get going.

Hi LUFCGeorge . Climbing Roses are pruned after 2-3 years growth then they can be pruned annually. Prune late autumn. some climbers are slower than others, but they will catch up...
