    Hi!
I posted earlier this spring as I have moved house and aquired quite a few roses. I'm a total novice so I've just left them to do their own thing so far. In summer a rose plant gave me the most beautiful bloom. I thought that was it but it has bloomed once more! Is this normal? Do I need to do anything with it now as autumn sets in? I have lightly dug in some well rotted manure and tidied up around the base but that's it so far. It smells Devine. Any ideas what it is?

Is it a climber ? To me it looks like " Handel ".

I don't do anything to mine except tidy them up as you have, and perhaps take off any long whippy growth if there are any. Don't prune until late Winter or early Spring.
