I only have a few roses in the garden (mostly climbers or patio climbers). Will pelleted chicken manure be sufficient to gove them a good feed or will I need a specific fertiliser for them.

I used to keep rare breed chickens and the muck from them is excellent on the garden. If you have good well composted chicken sh1t you probably need no more, if you don't then rose fertiliser best alternative.

I would advise TOPROSE fertiliser, chicken manure is fine for the likes of shrubs and general fertilising.
now is the time to put on your rose food, sprinkle round the base and hoe in.
repeat this again in late June, early July.
keep dead heading all summer as this will prolong the flowering time

Rossco, what is the difference between Toprose and any other fertiliser?

roses live for 30 years and will deplete the soil of trace elements and Magnesium, the rose fertiliser will replace these nutrients more effectively than an ordinary general fetiliser
