I have so many requests for Roses ID that I thought it would be a good idea to keep this Thread only for ID's,Rose ID is not an always easy as the colours from members cameras are not always true to life and indeed Roses colours change with age from bud to bloom, but I will always answer a members request and try my best:smile:

If possible the following would help Woo tremendously

    1 Age
    2. Type
3.Petal count and as much information as you have

Certainly a lovely rose. I have to be honest and admit. I am very reluctant to profer an identification of individual roses and fuchsias. IMO to ask a top class grower to identify, due to their notability most wil accept their answer.
In this instance Logan has given some valued info, +/- year. details of petal etc. All worthy points. In the scent area. Scent fragrance 4. Truly how do you determine a scent. Ladies might compliment each other. For the ladies, a bottle of perfume is one thing, but. A picture of a garden plant and it's scent ????????????

OK. For the more serious gardener, there is the RHS colour chart. Costly but beneficial if you are a serious or scientific gardener. My advice is. Accept what you have and enjoy.

@Mike Allen, I am friends with and have worked with as you put it"Top class Growers" all my life and still have many contacts in the Rosarian world,I do this ID'ing for GC and others for the very reason that our friend @Logan has stated.

ps.as for the RHS colour chart priced at £199 I would rather spend the money on Roses.

I totally agree with you regarding the colour chart.

Relating to my comment. May I say that no offense etc was intended. It is so rewarding to find like minded friends and to share the same interest.
