very slow in growth Woo , which I dont mind as you never know a late frost may just catch them out, but I have fed with a rose food and finished the tying in on the ramblers and a couple of stays ones trimmed back a tad , if it doesnt rain over the next couple of days I think I will have to turn the sprinklers on.

One of mine is called Chevy Chase introduced 1939 , its not a strong grower but amazing small flowers , I thought it was a recent introduction after the actor

26 fine. Gold rush still tiny and struggling. Margaret merril still poorley but much better. A tiny bit of blackspot on the pink floribunda

My new roses were set back by the snow the week before Easter when they were buried for two and a half weeks, they are now getting underway and looking healthy, let's hope they stay that way. :)

                      Thank you Woo,
let's hope it doesn't get smitten by cruel windy weather. It's the rose spanning the back of the house - a spur that shot up a couple of months ago quite low down so I have let it stay,

Climbing roses are getting off to a great start. 'Chris is most vigorous but the Penny Lane that we spoke about last year is recovering well :)

Loli, my 'Ebb Tide' is being a bit on the slow side but 'Super Trouper' and 'Rob Roy' are doing well out of the nine I planted. :)

My roses by the pond, Bright Future, White Cloud, Madame Alfred Carriere, Veilchenblau, Etoile De Hollande, Albertine, and one or two other unnamed, are very slow and although they look healthy they're not racing away. I guess they're in need of a feed as I've not fed them because I didn't want any run off into the pond. The others on the Arbour and the by the garden entrance are doing fine, as are the shrub roses.:snork:
