My lovely roses are being attacked by the wonderful Rose Sawfly Larvae...Rose Clear doesn't seem to do anything to them, anyone have any recommendations?

Cut off affected twigs and leave them out for birds to eat the larvae.
You don't need to use any spray

Never knew that there were so many different sawflies.
Over the years the gooseberry one takes all the leaves but we do manage to get some harvest.
Then the Solomon's seal thankfully allows us to have the flowers for some time and then we end up with lace curtains.
And now...the rose one. Thankfully we only have one rose in the garden. Oh that's not true we also have a dog rose that grew from the root stock of a rose given to us many years ago and died back. So now I will have to keep an eye on those 2 plants.
Funny though that the birds don't seem to take the larvae.

They're strangely hypnotic if you watch them 'dance'
