On my little piece of land in the countryside, I have lots of wild roses that produce lots of rose hips. I remember years ago my dad made some rose hip syrup from some, but he was following instructions given to him by someone else, and can't remember what you do.

So, once I harvest some rose hips, does anyone know what the next steps are to turn the crop into the delicious refreshing drink that I remember from childhood?

Thanks for that. I will definitely give it a go. I might have missed out on the rose hips this year, as the birds might have had the best of them by now (I haven't been to look for a few weeks), but if I have missed them, I will definitely get in there first when autumn comes back round.
