    Hi

I have two climbing roses, David Austin - Tess of the durbervilles (I think) - they did look stunning.
But now they are covered in rust.

I have removed and disposed of the leaves, so much so the plants is bare.

I do spray with rose clear and ensured no leaves fall to the ground , it’s no better.

I will mulch in the winter, but what can I do inthe winter /springto stop it happening next year

    thanks so much

The usual advice is to improve the conditions, particularly air flow though the plants. Are they too dense currently? A couple of photos will probably help with more specific advice, but most rose growers really don't bother with sprays.

Plenty of air flow and there was plenty of flowers , just rust now - but I have pulled off all those leaves

brand new leaves with rust even stems

I appreciate it’s had it this year, but what can I do to stop the spores next year
