rotorvating

    ok,what can i get away with,regarding foreign objects in the soil?house brick?half house brick?stones the size of apples?i'll be using a fairly powerful rotarvator(12hp)is it easy to break em???thanks in anticipation......dave

    Dave collect them all and build another house lol

    If the rotorvator ctches them, it will either

    1. turf them up

    2. suddenly jerk away, as the tines revolve quicker than the motorised wheels (if this is the type of model you will be using)


    You will get sweaty, very quickly, trying to keep it under control ;) .

    I helped my Dad do a garden like that.
    Unfortunatley we reverted to usung a pick axe and lifting the finds. As there was a few old bottles he must have got us interested.It was a new housing estate built on the grounds of High Legh Hall near Lymm.I think the builders left all the houses with 3inches of top soil.I think it was this house that gave me my interest in gardening. Although my Dad did grow Dalias for show and we earned our holiday spends by weeding the flower beds.
