Doom and gloom; after digging up, cleaning and drying 60 odd gladioli bulbs late last autumn for storage in the cellar over winter (I needed to move them) I have recently got them out to find all but about a dozen have rotted in the centre :( . Any ideas as to why and how to prevent it happening again? For information, the daliahs I treated and stored in exactly the same way are fine.

When putting corms into storage sprinle with yellow sulphur this seems to help.
