I have been using Round up in the pre diluted spray and i find it very slow to react on weeds. It seems to take a week or two to show effects. Any ideas for another weedkiller?

it all depends in what stage of growth the weeds are .... I've found that 10 days seems to be the average for most of the weedkillers I have used so far ... some weeds die a bit quicker, but the broad leaved types take a bit longer

from what I have read, the weedkiller works faster if the weeds are actively growing (if that makes sense)

I also put a bit of dishwashing liquid in the mix so that the weedkiller 'stick better' onto the leaves

Roundup is a systemic weedkiller and therefore takes quite a while to kill a plant.
A faster alternative (and there are many) would be Weedol which is a contact killer and will work in a couple of days.
Contact killers are fine for small weeds and grasses but deep rooted weeds really need a systemic killer.

There's quite a good list of weedkillers if you follow this link here >

Weed Killer - Weedkillers - Weed Control - Roundup - Weedol - Path Clear - Doff - Weed Grass Killer - Grass Killer - Lawn Weed Killer - Ingredients - Glyphosate - Sodium Chlorate - Industrial Weed Killer - Strong Weed Killers - Lawn - Organic - Natur
