This is generally a cue for all the birds in my garden to disappear for a long weekend and all I normally see are the seagulls.

They were very noisy this morning when I got the milk in but I couldn't see a thing in the dark!

I do the birdwatch each year and the birds normally parade around in their best finery for us. @NigelJ that must be where all yours get to :heehee:.

I have been doing the birdwatch for many years but stopped when they first went digital because to register for it you also had to give them your phone number. I complained about it but it took a couple of years for them to drop that.

They give you pictures and names of birds to assist you but half our birds aren't on the list as they only give you the more common ones. I haven't told our pheasants they aren't on the list otherwise they might get upset. :roflol:
