Thanks for the reminder Woo - saw it on the news this morning - sad that mother nature has this kind of an impact on our wildlife - but, it is mother nature! Will download a form and have a peaceful few hours watching the garden :)

Thanks Woo. I'd have forgotten if you hadn't posted your reminder. I'm sure the RSPB emailed me a reminder last year.

No, the printable version has been available online for sometime. If you want a printable version, go here:

    http://www.rspb.org.uk/birdwatch/

The printable version you need to scroll down for and you can download it in pdf format.

You then transfer your findings on here to the online version, which of course isn't active yet until the right reporting times.

Hi everyone just a bit of local Interest in my local paper today:)
I am a little confused ,The form I downloaded says if I see 4 robins together ,mark 4 boxes,If an hour later I see 3 more Robins I have to leave my count to 4 and not 7:scratch:could they not be 7 different Robins. Its probably me having a senior moment,I will have to have a rest:hehe::)

LOL Woo - if you see three 'together', then you would mark three. If you later on see five together, you would increase the total coloured in boxes to five (as in the boxes marked off should be the maximum number you have seen TOGETHER, not in total). Then if you see another three, you just leave the count at five, as five is still the maximum number seen together.......
