RSPB tracks Osprey migration

The RSPB are again tracking the migration south of 2 ospreys from Loch Garten. You can follow their progress on the link. I hope the birds are more successful than last year when poor Deshur took a wrong turn out over the Atlantic and met his doom.

We once had a pair of Osprey flying over the Goyt valley here in the hills of Derbyshire. I was working at the time and so, unfortunately, I couldn't get over to see them. Anyway, it is interesting to note that one of the pair is far behind the other in France, while the other is in Portugal. Thanks for sharing, Alice.
