Rudbeckia Early Bird Gold (PBR)

    Hi,

    I am growing the above plant in containers and the foliage is doing very well; large, healthy leaves. However, there is no sign of any flower stems or buds. This variety is supposed to start flowering in June and as we move into August flowering is not going to happen yet! I have six different plants and they are all in the same position. Is it just a case of a slow start in spring and a shorter flowering season this year?
