    Hello,

I have several runners from my raspberries that are growing outside my
french balcony. They are hanging out of the put into the air so they are not
    actually stuck in any soil.

Is it possible to nip them off and put them in water or soil in hope to create roots?

Or do I have to stick them down in any additional basket with soil in order to
    make them grow?

    Thank you!

    Hi, Magnus
Before these 'runners' can be turned into viable plants they will need potting-up. Fill a 3inch pot/pots with compost, then the plant the nodules just below the surface of the compost, with bent pieces of wire (something like hair pins) secure them either side.

After a short while roots will form and once growing well, they can be severed from the parent plant.

    Okey!

Perhaps its possible to make some temporary small pot outside (out of space).
Some small additional pot hanging on the side..

Thank you for your answer. Was thinking of maby planting some outside in the forest, since I took them from there earlier this year: ) So the defientely has the genetics to make it!

    Cheers
