The old bird bath at the bottom of my main "walk around" border doesn't seem to hold water as well as it used to and requires daily topping up. Granted it has a shallow bowl but I'm sure it's become porous and it's losing water that way. Does anyone know if there is a safe sealer to treat the bowl area with???

Nah, got some German Nano Technology that they claimed was micro porous. I tested it & could find no evidence of that, which really upset the Germans.

Its a blooming good sealant though.

Is that "bottle of stuff" some of your home brew, Ziggy???, that last stuff we drank could strip paint off a wall not put it on. Is that a liquid aquatic sealant, Val? I'll take a look on the Net but I just thought someone might know of anything that would do the job.:dunno:

No, you're not allowed anymore of the homebrew after you stuck pins in Aesculus's Teddy.

Do ya want a bottle or not?

Armandii, it's not porous........it's either the moss soaking it up or all those rotten rain clouds we've had recently.:heehee:

G4. Its designed for sealing concrete. Its not cheap, and needs 2 coats. One left to right the other up and down.
